In the past 24 hours I’ve travelled from the southwest to the northeast corner of North America.
My neck hurts. I haven’t had a full night’s sleep in days. And I’m smiling.
In the past week I have dove the waters of San Diego Bay, swam in the Pacific ocean, taken jump shots at the Mexican border, chilled with my neighbours on my front porch and surprised my dad for his retirement party.
As I map this journey across the continent, it makes me so incredibly happy…and grateful.
Grateful to have been encouraged to travel and appreciate the beauty of the world from a very young age. Grateful to be fortunate enough to actual live out such incredible adventures. Grateful to be constantly surrounded by a supportive and inspirational group of family and friends.
Some of life’s journeys can be mapped. Others are simply felt. All of them are shared.
Dedicated to my dad as he retires and starts his own adventures.
